Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. The father of Isabel is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family has lived in the Swiss, in Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and Jabiru in Switzerland. Along with Nina, her younger sister Nina she was a student at schools that included First Nations children as well as children from other cultures. Isabel currently lives within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in drama since her school days. Her studies continued at the Queensland University of Technology (Victorian College of Arts) as well as, most recently, she was studying Perdekamp's Emotional Technique PEM. Her auditions were not for any part until asked via her agents in 2002. She was on the screen on Home and Away for 1988. The producers felt she wasn't right for the part however, they were impressed enough to create a different role that she could play, Tasha. In the three years she spent in her debut TV appearance she was awarded an award called the Logie Award. Isabel was able to move in 2008 Los Angeles. In 2009, her breakthrough performance was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Since then, she's been in a variety of US and Australian productions. Isabel was recently on the screen in Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy, a movie that's fast becoming an Australian classic. Also, she starred in the coming film Lunacy. Isabel completed Sons of Summer recently and is in the process of pre-production along with Annika, a writer-director who has been awarded numerous times. Isabel is a passionate animal lover and has collaborated closely with several environmental organizations. Since 2010, she is the PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival. Isabel is known by her environmental-friendly ethical inclinations as well as her commitment towards social justice. She was a brand ambassador for numerous campaigns for cosmetics and fashion.
